    Alabama Tornado Outbreak Recovery Really Just Beginning
The official count from City Hall is that 5,013 homes and businesses in city of Tuscaloosa damaged or destroyed, and that doesn’t even include Alberta, Holt or surrounding areas.
Thankfully the number of deaths related to the storm is down to 236 with 40 from Tuscaloosa. You can see the names of those that passed by clicking here. Very sad stuff as the first name on the list is that of a 1 year old girl.

As you can see from this photo of the planned front page and the one that was actually on news stands today, the southern tornados have taken a backseat to the amazing news that Osama Bin Laden was killed by US forces. By no means am I suggesting to stop celebrating this national victory but while doing so continue to be aware of your fellow citizens that have lost their lives and those that are suffering still.
